Ingredients

• ½ teaspoon(s) vanilla powder or vanilla extract
• ½ teaspoon(s) nutmeg
• ¾ cup(s) Milk
• 1 teaspoon(s) Salt
• 2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
• 4 ¾ cup(s) flour
• 2 beaten eggs
• + 2 more ingredients
• • 1 cup(s) Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon(s) vegetable shortening

Cream shortening and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla if using extract and beat well. Combine dry ingredients (including vanilla if using powder) then sift together.
