Dressing For Cole Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1 gallon(s) vinegar
  • 3 quart(s) water
  • 36 cup(s) sugar
  • ½ cup(s) celery seed
  • ½ cup(s) mustard seed

Boil 1 minute. Cool overnight. Layer dressing and cabbage in large 5-gallon pails. Cover and let stand in a cool place until needed for the dinner. Works to make it Friday for dinner on Sunday. Covers 40 pounds of cabbage/carrot mixture
