Easy Payday Bars

Ingredients

• 1 c white sugar
• 1 c light Karo syrup
• 1 c (smooth or crunchy) peanut butter
• 1 tsp. vanilla extract
• 6 c Rice Chex cereal
• 1 c nuts, optional

1. In medium saucepan, combine sugar and Karo - boil 1 minute. 2. Mix in peanut butter and vanilla and stir until blended. 3. Pour over rice chex in large bowl and mix well. 4. Press into a 9" X 13" Pam-sprayed dish. 5. Cool serve.
