Easy Spaghetti Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 can (28 oz/796 mL) diced tomatoes
  • ¼ cup tomato paste
  • hot pepper flakes
  • ¾ tsp dried basil
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • 1 sweet green pepper , diced
  • 1 celery stalk , diced
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 1 carrot , diced
    • 1 small onion , chopped
    • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

In saucepan, heat oil over medium heat; fry onion, carrot, celery, green pepper, salt, basil and hot pepper flakes, stirring occasionally, until softened, about 8 minutes.
