Egg Rolls and Dipping Sauce

Ingredients

  • Dipping Sauce:
  • 1/3 c reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/3 c rice vinegar
  • 1 T honey
  • 1 to 2 t sesame oil
  • pinch red pepper flakes
  • Egg Rolls:
  • + 13 more ingredients
    • 4 T vegetable oil, divided
    • 1 1-inch piece fresh ginger, grated
    • 2 clove garlic, finely chopped
    • 2 green onions, sliced thinly
    • 1 carrot, cut into thin strips
    • 1 small red pepper, cut into thin strips
    • ¼ c vegetable broth
    • 2 T reduced-sodium soy sauce
    • 1 T sugar
    • 1 c shredded napa cabbage
    • 1 to 2 T sesame oil
    • 10 cooked shrimp, chopped
    • 20 (2-inch square) wonton wrappers (covered loosely with a damp paper towel to prevent drying)
