Eggnog Filling


  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup bourbon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 large eggs
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 ¾ cups heavy cream

Whisk together first 5 ingredients in a heavy saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat, whisking constantly, 10 to 12 minutes or until mixture reaches a chilled pudding-like thickness.
