Endive with Smoked Trout and Herbed Cream Cheese

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces smoked trout fillets
  • 4 Belgian endive (green and red)
  • Fresh dill sprigs
  • 2 green onions
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
  • ½ cup fresh dill
  • 1 8-ounce package cream cheese

Mix first 4 ingredients in small bowl. Season with freshly ground black pepper. (Can be made 2 days ahead. Cover; chill. Bring to room temperature before using.) Separate endive into leaves.
