Fast Breads' Southern Corn Sticks

Ingredients

• ½ cup buttermilk, any fat content
• ¼ teaspoon kosher salt
• ½ teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon baking powder
• 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
• ¾ cup fine-grind stone-ground yellow cornmeal

• • 2 tablespoons unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp corn or canola oil plus 1 tbsp
  • 2 teaspoons unsalted butter, melted
