Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon salt, divided
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 4 (6-ounce) halibut fillets
  • 1 cup plain low-fat yogurt
  • ½ cup shredded fennel bulb
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
  • + 5 more ingredients
    • 2 teaspoons fennel seeds, crushed
    • Cooking spray
    • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
    • 2 teaspoons chopped fennel fronds
    • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Combine first 5 ingredients and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a large zip-top plastic bag; add fish. Seal and marinate in refrigerator 1 hour, turning occasionally. Preheat broiler.
