Filling for Chocolate Cupcakes


  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • ¼ cup(s) powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon(s) cold water
  • ¼ teaspoon(s) salt
  • 2/3 cup(s) Crisco
  • ½ cup(s) sugar
  • ½ cup(s) evaporated milk

Beat for 10 minutes milk, sugar, Crisco, salt and vanilla. Add water and powdered sugar. Put in pastry or decorator bag/tube and force into center of baked chocolate cupcakes. Will fill about 3 dozen cupcakes. Then frost tops of cupcakes with your favorite frosting.
