Fluffy White Icing


  • 1 ½ cup(s) sugar
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • 2 tablespoon(s) White Karo
  • ¾ cup(s) water

Mix sugar, water & Karo together. Boil slowly until syrup spins a 6 to 8 inch thread. (242°) While syrup is cooking, beat egg whites until stiff. Pour hot syrup slowly into beaten egg whites, beating constantly. Add vanilla. Beat until icing holds its shape. Spread on cake top and sides.. Enjoy!
