Fresh Lemon-Basil Dip With Blanched Green Beans
Ingredients
- 2 cups mayonnaise
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons lemon zest
- 6 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 (8-oz.) container sour cream
- 1 cup chopped fresh basil
- Garnishes: lemon zest, lemon slices
1. Whisk together first 5 ingredients until blended. Cover and chill until ready to serve. Cook beans, in batches, in boiling water to cover 3 to 5 minutes or until crisp-tender.
