Fresh Peas with Lemon & Chives

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbs. unsalted butter
  • 8 oz. shelled fresh peas
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • ¼ tsp. coarse salt
  • 2 tsp. finely chopped chives
  • 2 tsp. finely chopped chives
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 1 large shallot, finely chopped (to yield about 3 Tbs.)
    • ¼ tsp. minced lemon zest
