Fresh Tomatillo Salsa


  • ½ pound small fresh tomatillos
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 large garlic clove
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon fresh serrano chile

Coarsely chop tomatillos, then purée with remaining salsa ingredients and 1/2 teaspoon salt in a blender until smooth.
