Fresh Tomato and Basic Linguine


  • 3 clove(s) garlic, minced
  • 1 red pepper, chopped
  • 1 bunch(s) fresh basil, torn
  • ½ cup(s) olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon(s) pepper
  • 1 package(s) linguine, cooked per package directions and drained. (16 ounce package)
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • Parmesan cheese for garnish
    • 1 ½ pound(s) tomato, finely chopped

In a large bowl stir together tomatoes, garlic, red pepper and basil. Drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Mix well and toss with hot cooked linguine. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, if desired. Serves 6-8.
