Fresh Yeast Bread
Ingredients
- 2 (0.6 ounce) cakes compressed fresh yeast
- 1 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
- 4 cups hot water
- ¾ cup white sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- ½ cup shortening
- 15 cups bread flour
