Fried Apple Matza Kugel (Gebroks)


  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) salt
  • ¾ cup(s) sugar
  • 2 apples, peeled and diced
  • 3 Eggs, Separated
  • 5 matzas, soaked

Grease a 9x13 inch pan. Beat egg whites and set aside. Beat yolks. Squeeze matza dry and add to beaten yolks. Add remaining ingredients to yolk and matza mixture. Carefully fold in egg whites.
