Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 McIntosh apples, peeled, cored, and sliced, or 1 can apple pie filling
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 (8-piece) container refrigerated flaky biscuit dough
  • 2 tablespoons water
