FRIED APPLE RINGS
- 3 firm apples (large)
- 3 tablespoon(s) butter
- 2 tablespoon(s) firmly packed brown sugar
Core apples,(Don't pare). Cut apples in 1/2 inch slices. Melt butter in large heavy skillet. Add apple slices; sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Cook over medium heat, turning apple rings until golden brown and tender. Makes 8 servings.
