Fried Green Tomatoes 37


  • Salt and pepper
  • ¾ cup(s) cracker crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 or 3 medium green tomatoes

In skillet, pour thin layer of oil and oleo. Wash and slice tomatoes in 1/4" slices. Dip in beaten egg and then in cracker crumbs. Fry until brown on each side. While frying, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
