Ingredients
- ½ cup(s) corn meal
- ½ cup(s) flour
- vegetable oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2 green tomatoes (large)
Slice tomatoes 1/4" thick. Keep an iron skillet well oiled on medium heat. Mix flour and corn meal. Dip each slice of tomato in the egg.
