"Fried" Ice Cream Truffles

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 qt. vanilla or dulce de leche ice cream
  • 1 cup frosted cornflakes
  • ½ teaspoon salt

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment. Place butter, sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and cook in microwave on high for 1 minute, until butter has melted.
