Fried Onion Rings
Ingredients
- ¾ tsp. salt
- 2 egg whites
- 4 large, rather flat onions (about ¾ lb. each)
- 12 oz. flat beer at room temperature
- ¼ cup peanut oil; more for frying
- 2 cups flour
