Frozen Lemon Dessert - your homebased mom


  • 3 eggs, separate yolks and whites
  • ½ C sugar
  • 3 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 C heavy whipping cream
  • ½ C crushed vanilla wafers

Mix together yolks, sugar and lemon juice in a pan and stir over low heat until thick. Approx. 4-5 minutes Remove from heat and cool. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into cooked mixture.
