Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tablespoons sugar
  • ¼ cup tequila (see notes)
  • 1 ½ cups (3 1/2 oz.) lightly packed white marshmallows
  • ¼ cup lime juice
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon grated lime peel
  • 20 thin chocolate wafer cookies (about 2 in. wide; 5 oz. total)
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 2/3 cup half-and-half (light cream)
    • 2 tablespoons melted butter or margarine
