George Washington Salad

Ingredients

• 1 can(s) cherry pie filling (21 oz. can)
• ½ cup(s) sugar
• 1 can(s) crushed pineapple (20 ounce can)
• 1 package(s) cherry flavored gelatin (6 ounce pkg)
• 2 cup(s) boiling water
• 1 package(s) cream cheese, softened (8 ounce pkg)
• 1 cup(s) sour cream
• + 1 more ingredients
• • ½ cup(s) chopped walnuts or pecans

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Cool until room temperature, stir in pie filling & pineapple. Pour into a 9x13 inch glass dish & chill until firm. For topping, beat together cream cheese, sour cream & sugar until smooth. Spread over salad & sprinkle with nuts.
