Georgia BBQ Mop Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon(s) worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoon(s) Dijon mustard
- ¼ cup(s) firmly packed dark brown sugar
- ¼ cup(s) orange juice
- ¼ cup(s) cider vinegar
- ¼ cup(s) ketchup
- salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

- 2 cup(s) Tomato puree
- 2 clove(s) garlic, minced
- 1 yellow onion, minced
- ¼ cup(s) vegetable oil
- 1 ½ cup(s) beer or water
Warm oil in a saucepan over medium heat, add garlic and onion and sauté for about 5 minutes. Stir in tomato sauce, vinegar, mustard, orange juice, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and cook until thick it should take about 15 minutes.
