Ghiscari Spiced Honeyed Locusts

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon grated lime zest
  • Salt
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • ½ teaspoon coriander
  • 1 slice gingerroot
  • 20 locusts
  • 2 tablespoons grated gingerroot

    • 3 tablespoons lime juice
    • ¼ cup cilantro
    • Sugar
    • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
    • 1 clove garlic
    • ¼ cup soy sauce
    • ½ cup vegetable oil
    • 1 green onion
    • 3 cups packaged fresh stir-fry vegetable mix
    • 2 teaspoons cornstarch

1. To make spiced honey marinade, combine the honey, lime juice, lime zest, and soy sauce in a bowl. Slowly whisk in 1/4 cup of the oil.
