Ingredients

  • ¾ cup frozen reduced-calorie whipped topping (such as Cool Whip Lite), thawed
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour (about 5 1/2 ounces)
  • Cooking spray
  • 1/3 cup flat Guinness stout

    • 1/3 cup applesauce
    • 4 ½ tablespoons butter, softened
    • ½ cup packed dark brown sugar

Preheat oven to 350°. Coat a 9-inch round cake pan with cooking spray; line bottom of pan with wax paper. Coat wax paper with cooking spray; set aside.
