Ingredients

6 tablespoons butter, softened
½ teaspoon ground mace
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon ground ginger
²/₃ cup plus 3 tablespoons sugar, divided
Cooking spray
¼ cup molasses

Place butter in a large bowl; beat with a mixer at medium speed until fluffy. Gradually add 2/3 cup sugar, beating at medium speed until light and well blended.
