  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
  • ½ cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 (15-ounce) package refrigerated piecrusts
  • ¼ cup butter or margarine
  • 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 12 large firm Bosc pears, peeled and sliced
    • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
    • 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar

Toss sliced pears with brown sugar and flour. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat; add pear mixture, and cook, stirring often, 10 minutes or until tender.
