Ingredients

  • 2 pounds small hard-shelled clams such as littlenecks
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander seeds
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 1 medium onion
  • ½ teaspoon coarse salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • grated fresh coconut or unsweetened desiccated coconut
  • + 6 more ingredients
    • 1 tablespoon fresh lime or lemon juice
    • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro leaves
    • 1 ½ tablespoons vegetable oil
    • ½ cup Laxmi'sfresh coconut milk or canned unsweetened coconut milk
    • ¼ teaspoon cayenne
    • 1 tablespoon fresh gingerroot
