Goat Cheese, Lemon & Chive Turnovers

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. fresh goat cheese (about ½ cup), at room temperature
  • ¼ cup minced yellow onion
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Flour for dusting
  • ¼ cup thinly sliced fresh chives
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed overnight in the refrigerator
  • 1 tsp. finely grated lemon zest
