Ingredients

  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ cup (8 tablespoons) unsalted butter, room temperature
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 5 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 ½ cups shredded cheese (I used cheddar, but a nice Gruyère would be even better)
