Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (1 stick), melted
  • 3 eggs, separated and yolks slightly beaten
  • 1 cup sugar, plus 1 tablespoon
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch

Preheat oven to 400° F. Mix the graham cracker crumbs, butter, and ½ cup of the sugar in a bowl. Set aside ½ cup of the graham cracker mixture.
