Grandma's Strawberry Shortcake

Ingredients

• pinch of salt
• 4 teaspoon(s) baking powder
• 2 Eggs
• 2 cup(s) flour
• 1 cup(s) milk
• ½ cup(s) shortening
• 2 cup(s) sugar

Cream together shortening, eggs, and sugar. Add milk, then flour, baking powder, and salt. Bake in a 9 x 13 pan at 350 for 25 minutes. Place fresh strawberries, mixed with a little sugar, on top and enjoy!
