Grapefruit "C and G"


  • 12 large grapefruit*
  • ½ cup grenadine
  • 2 tablespoons diced crystallized ginger
  • 1 cup ginger ale
  • 1 ¾ cups sugar, divided
  • ½ cup light corn syrup
  • ¾ cup Campari

Peel and section grapefruit; set sections aside. Reserve rind from 3 grapefruit. Cut pith from rind, and discard.
