Grapefruit-Tequila Granita


  • ¼ cup grated grapefruit rind
  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 4 cups fresh pink grapefruit juice (about 7 large grapefruit)
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • ¾ cup gold tequila

Combine first 3 ingredients; stir well. Bring to a boil; cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute or until sugar dissolves. Combine sugar mixture, grapefruit juice, and tequila in a large bowl; stir well.
