Grapefruit Upside-Down Cake

Ingredients

  • 10 tablespoons (1 ¼ sticks) unsalted butter
  • ¾ cup packed light-brown sugar
  • 2 small pink grapefruit
  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¾ teaspoon ground ginger
