Grapefruit with Golden Raisin Rum Syrup

Ingredients

• 3 tablespoons sugar
• 3 tablespoons water
• ¼ cup golden raisins
• ¼ cup dark rum
• 3 red, pink, or white grapefruit
• 1 tablespoon sliced almonds
