Ingredients

  • 5 hard-cooked eggs, dyed deep red
  • 3 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter, sliced
  • ½ teaspoon anise seeds
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • 1 package active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • About 5 cups all-purpose flour
    • ¼ teaspoon whole allspice
