Green Bean Salad 10


  • 1 ½ teaspoon(s) ground oregano
  • 1 teaspoon(s) pepper
  • 1 ½ teaspoon(s) garlic salt
  • ¼ cup(s) sugar
  • ¼ cup(s) vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup(s) vinegar
  • 1 pound(s) fresh green beans,cut

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl, excluding the beans: mix thoroughly. Add beans, stir, and chill at least one hour. Before serving, stir beans in marinade: drain off excess liquid. Then serve. Canned beans are acceptable substitute. If no ground oregano is handy, use regular leafy oregano.
