Green Beans Braised with Tomatoes and Basil


  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup white onion
  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 large plum tomatoes
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 ½ pounds green beans
