Green Beans with Lemon and Garlic

  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 ½ pounds green beans, trimmed
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 1 ½ tablespoons butter
    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Bring water to a boil in a large skillet. Add beans; cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 8 minutes or until tender. Drain beans; pat dry. Heat oil and butter in pan over medium heat.
