Green Beans with Maple-Pecan Butter

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ pounds French green beans
  • 13 teaspoons canola oil
  • ½ cup pecan halves
  • 16 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper

Cook beans in large pot of boiling salted water , uncovered, until crisp-tender, 3 to 4 minutes.
