Grilled Artichokes with Smoked Tomato-Ancho Chile Mayonnaise

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 4 tablespoons butter

  • 4 large globe artichokes
