Grilled Asparagus and Onions with Balsamic Vinegar


  • 1 large vidalia onion, cut into ¼" or ½" rings
  • seasoned salt
  • ½ cup(s) dates or figs, chopped
  • ½ cup(s) crumbled blue cheese or gorganzola cheese
  • 2 teaspoon(s) fresh lemon thyme, chopped
  • ¼ cup(s) olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon(s) balsamic vinegar
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 2 large bunches of asparagus, trimmed
    • ¼ cup(s) toasted pinenuts

Heat gas grill to medium heat. Place asparagus and onions on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, (about 6 tsp.), season with salt and pepper.
