Grilled Cheddar Bacon Loaf
Ingredients
- 1 loaf baguette-style French bread (16 ounce loaf)
- 6 slice(s) bacon, crisp-cooked, drained and crumbled
- 1 teaspoon(s) freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 teaspoon(s) yellow mustard
- ¼ cup(s) sliced green onions (2)
- 1 cup(s) shredded sharp cheddar cheese (4 ounce)
- ½ cup(s) butter, softened
Using a serrated knife, cute bread crosswise into 1-inch slices, cutting to but not through the bottom crust. In a small bowl, stir together butter, cheese, bacon, onions, mustard, and lemon juice.
