Ingredients

  • ½ cucumber
  • ½ small onion
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill
  • 1 ½ cups plain yogurt
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup couscous
  • + 8 more ingredients
    • 6 6-inch-diameter pita breads
    • 2 ¼ pounds boneless lamb sirloin, trimmed
    • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
    • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
    • 2 garlic cloves
    • 1 ripe tomato

Set strainer over large bowl. Line strainer with 2 layers of cheesecloth (do not let strainer touch bottom of bowl). Spoon yogurt into strainer.
