Grilled Green Tomatoes with Creamy Basil Sauce

Ingredients

  • Coarse salt and ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 3 green tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • ¼ cup fresh basil leaves
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
